This is an early (one day review), but the system lacks a certain dynamic range. During Dolby D scenes from Private Ryan and Matrix, the quality was serviceable but not awe inspiring. Part of the reason is the output on the bar is only 20 watts. Also, the very small drivers lack omph. However, I did expect better spatial effects on the material (bullets and explosion), did not hear a lot. I may return it later if no improvement after break-in.
This may be a system for a den TV with a game system.
Pros:
- very nice and small form factor (fits on top of the plasma)
- subwoofer is wireless and very good (also small in size)
- control panel is small
Cons:
- low output wattage
- dynamic range is limited
- surround effects average
- price point $150 higher than it should be
- flimsy build quality
