  • The item was never received. Tracking number provided but UPS claims they never ’saw’ the item. After four calls over eight days I was told the item had been returned and restocked. I placed all four calls and at no time was customer service ever working the issue.

    Very Poor customer service.

  • Product works fine. The remote does not work. But for the price $100 vs $300 for a comparable system it was a great purchase.

  • OK ! If you’re like me, you read all of the reviews to get a sense of whether or not the item would suit your needs.

While reading the reviews, I noticed that a couple of people said that the DVD player stopped working also mentioned was a remote not working.

With that said, here is my take:

The batteries that came with it for the remote were dead.

Once I put in fresh batteries the remote worked just fine.

I bought this unit mainly for the sound and I was very happily surprised how good it is.

The sound is rich and clear. It sounds better than some units costing more than twice as much.

Seriously; This unit is worth much more than the selling price.

Amazingly this unit even have a USB port and a card reader along with a AM/FM Radio and DVD player.

Setup is a breeze. The unit is hefty and very well made.

I never thought that I could get such a great unit for such an extremely low price.

If you buy this unit. You will not be disappointed.

BTW: Someone rated this unit as 1 star due to shipping issues, which brought the overall rating down.

Shipping issues has nothing whatsoever to do with the unit itself and should not have been posted here in the reviews section.

  • I don’t write many reviews but the sound quality, or lack thereof on this unit made me want to let others know about it. Because, if space is an issue and you don’t feel like running a bunch of wires, the price tag on this unit seems appealing. Let me just say that you get what you pay for.

I would say the sound quality is about that of a decent set of computer speakers. And the “Sub” that is integrated is pretty sorry as well. The DVD player does not upscale and the inputs are a joke. All it has is one set of analog rca jacks for input. So, basically you have to run everything through your TV and out to this unit. Some of the newer TVs don’t even have rca audio outs on them.

I can’t speak to the DVD playback because the sound was so disappointing that I unhooked the unit after less than 5 minutes. The audio on my Panasonic Plasma TH-50PX600U literally blows this thing away. Now, I do understand that the audio and “Sub” built into my panny are far superior to the speaker systems in many flat panels so I am not suggesting that any flat panel will sound a lot better than this unit. But, what I am saying is that you are most likely better off IMO looking for a higher quality unit. Your new flat panel will likely last 10-15 years, I highly doubt this thing would last 5.

I wouldn’t reccomend this to anyone, however someone on a really tight budget that has a flat panel with really bad speakers could use this product and get some functionality out of it provided that don’t have great hearing and they aren’t picky at all.

Look for a better soundbar, this is not the “Deal” it appears to be.

  • Easy to set up, sounds good. Within a month the DVD stopped working. It just eject the DVDs automatically and leaves marks on them. Support was no help. I had to buy a standalone player to replace the functionality.
